Amsa Yaro is a former journalist turned Mixed Media artist who creates original works inspired by her Nigerian background, culture and life. Yaro has featured in several events including Simple Reflections, 2023-24, London Artist Studio Tour 2024, Unity Project’s UpwithArt Auction in 2021 to 2023, Black history Month Arts Pop Up Show, Musuem London, February 2022 as well as London Arts Live with London Art Council. Yaro has worked in a few public art projects and programs including the BIA Argyle Ribbon in 2024, London Art Council's Creative Ageing and Belong Program, OEV’s Mural Art Project on 632 Dundas Street, London, Ont as well as Covent Garden Market. Yaro teaches a variety of classes including Paper Mache Sculpting, Watercolor Batik Art around the city and online.
